- May 4, 2011 Samuel Stanwyck receiving the 2010-2011 John Holmes Malmberg Prize. Sam is enrolled in PhD program at Stanford.
- May 4, 2011 Charles Neill receiving the 2010-2011 Shang-Keng Ma Award. Charles is enrolled in PhD program at UC Santa Barbara.
- April 25, 2011 Veronica Burnett becomes AIP's Intern of the Year for 2010-2011 in Roger Revelle College. An article is written about her achievement on the USRA website.
